Beginners Empathy Group

Who might like to join: Those with an NVC A Language of Life book under their belt of experience (or read the book plus completed a foundation training, or someone wanting to be an observer who has a keen interest in learning NVC).

If you would like to join in, the first step is easy….drop me an email or give me a call.

This empathy practice is based on the model shared by Sarah Peyton. During the hour we find there is time for participants to practice giving empathy to at least two people on the call.

This group is open to anyone who has completed a foundation training in NVC or equivalent OR read the first 8 chapters of Marshall Rosenberg's book "Nonviolent Communication - A Language of Life”.

Kate has facilitated many practice groups and foundation trainings and loves supporting and creating an environment where we can learn and grow with each other with safety, trust and respect.

NVC Practice Group

This group welcomes your suggestions and proactive input. In short this is our group, not mine. Inclusive to all even if little or no NVC experience as long as you limit your questions. This often provides some wonderful NVC opportunities.

Sessions usually include at the start a short period of quiet reflection. Empathy is always available and can be a great role model for others so we welcome any "slight to moderate" issues that may require some empathy.

NVC Practice Group

Our Group is a ‘holding’ space for us to be authentic, empathic, non-judgemental, vulnerable … to compassionately connect … in a safe environment. A place where we can ‘put our foot in it’. We meet to support each other to integrate NVC into our lives.
It is important to us that you have both read ‘Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life’ by Marshall Rosenberg, and have done at least one Foundation Training.

Lane Cove
NVC Practice Group

Come together to explore, practice and integrate NVC.  A talk will be given on an aspect of NVC and there will be activities, games and role plays, discussion and interaction.  Mindfulness and self-connection practices are part of the activities. Empathy buddies can also be arranged with other group members.

A group for people wanting more practice, 24/7 empathy, free events on Skype and other online stuff. Trainers are also welcome.

We have practice sessions on Skype every month, and some are timed to work well for Australia. These are very intimate, because we keep the group small, and the high quality of sound on Skype supports great connection.
