ComPassionate Couples

We will be exploring Marshall Rosenberg’s book “Nonviolent Communication – a Language of Life”. To support couples with young children, we will be  focusing on one chapter for 2 weeks at a time, so each parent can alternatively attend (while the other is caring for the child/ren ) and keep up to date with their partner. Jana will lead the group for the first 3 sessions.

This group welcomes your suggestions and proactive input. In short this is our group, not mine. Inclusive to all even if little or no NVC experience as long as you limit your questions. This often provides some wonderful NVC opportunities.

Sessions usually include at the start a short period of quiet reflection. Empathy is always available and can be a great role model for others so we welcome any “slight to moderate” issues that may require some empathy.

We have practice sessions on Skype every month, and some are timed to work well for Australia. These are very intimate, because we keep the group small, and the high quality of sound on Skype supports great connection.
