This monthly practice group meets to explore using NVC in everyday life and to support each other in learning various aspects of Non-Violent Communication.

For participants who are interested, there is also the opportunity to volunteer to lead a session and set a topic to explore with the group.

All are welcome, though it is recommended that you have read ‘NVC: a Language of Life’ book to have a grasp of basic NVC concepts to be able to follow along with some of the practice exercises.

Practice Group in Compassionate Communication

The Practice Group in Compassionate Communication offers graduates of Foundation Courses and the online Connecting Through Talk course series the opportunity to practice compassionate communication skills using our program of activities designed to support your continued learning and growth.

NVC Practice Group

A group for people wanting more practice, 24/7 empathy, free events on Skype and other online stuff. Trainers are also welcome.

We have practice sessions on Skype every month, and some are timed to work well for Australia. These are very intimate, because we keep the group small, and the high quality of sound on Skype supports great connection.

Women's Empathy Circle

The Empathy Circle process is a practice for building empathy skills and a non judgmental, compassionate way of being. Empathy circles provide an opportunity to nurture, practice, and deepen empathy with ourselves and others. This is a safe space for women to share our experiences, thoughts, feelings, and reflections, and to be heard and receive warm empathy in return.
