NVC Internationally

After developing NVC Marshall Rosenberg founded the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC), a global Non Profit training and peace-making Organisation helping people connect compassionately with themselves and one another through NVC.

CNVC is a non-sectarian, non-religious organisation.

CNVC’s vision is a world where everyone’s needs
are being met peacefully.

NVC has been introdcued on five continents, more recently in Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Burundi, India, Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Western Europe. In the former Yugoslavia, the CNVC team has trained thousands of teachers and students and developed curriculum materials for use with children from kindergarten through to high school.

Recently, NVC has been introduced in Colombia, and a Latin America Task Force is planning to bring NVC training to ten countries in Latin America, including Mexico and Puerto Rico.

NVC was first introduced in Australia in 1999.

For over 35 years, Marshall Rosenberg has travelled the world sharing the language of Nonviolent Communication — contributing to a shift in consciousness from reliance on violence, alienation and oppression to a new paradigm of interconnectedness. Thousands of people around the globe are finding new avenues to peace within their families and communities, in schools, prisons and urban gangs and between warring factions around the world.
